Delicious Rum-based Christmas Cakes
Our dark, rich, Rum Fruit Cakes are prepared using a selection of fruits which have been soaked for several months in a mixture of white overproof rum or brandy and strong, aromatic red wine. Among the fruits are raisins, prunes, cherries and currants. Traditionally served at Christmas in Jamaica, Rum Fruit Cakes are suitable for icing and are therefore ideal for festive occasions such as weddings and anniversaries. 

Rum Fruit Cakes improve with age and can be stored for very long periods without refrigeration. They can also be frozen and defrosted when needed. 

Rum Fruit Cakes are excellent with rum punch, wine, champagne and rich fruit juices.

Available in round (21 cm in diameter) and rectangular (18 cm x 25 cm, 20 cm x 30 cm or 25 cm x 35 cm) sizes. Thickness: 4 cm to 7 cm.
